Historic Cafes Route

“The Historic Cafés Route” offers travelers the opportunity to embark on a fascinating thematic journey, to travel back in time, to enjoy the luxury of golden-age cafés, and to discover the important role they have played in the past and continue to play in shaping Europe’s cultural history.

The European Cultural Route of Historic Cafés, accredited by the Council of Europe in 2022, expanded to the Republic of Moldova in May 2024. This occurred during the first meeting chaired by the organization’s new president, Arnold Klingeis. Currently, the Republic of Moldova is represented on this route by the Wine.md Tasting Room restaurant and Castel Mimi Wine Resort.
