Curchi Monastery
Curchi Monastery, located in the Orhei Codri (forests), in the village of Curchi, Orhei district, is one of the most important and beautiful monasteries in the Republic of Moldova.
Founded in 1773 by brothers Iordache and Mihail Curchi, initially as a wooden hermitage, the monastery gradually evolved into an impressive monastic complex. Today, it is considered a symbol of Moldovan spirituality and architecture.
The monastery is also a pilgrimage site for believers from across the country and abroad, known for its atmosphere of peace and spirituality.
