
“Lower Dniester” National Park
“Lower Dniester” National Park is one of the newest and most valuable protected natural areas in the Republic of Moldova, created to preserve the biodiversity and unique landscapes of the lower Dniester River region.
The park is recognized as one of the most biologically diverse protected areas in the country. It is home to:
- 83 species of fish
- 288 species of birds
- 54 species of mammals
- 950 species of plants
The park offers a wide range of recreational and educational activities, including: ecological hiking trails, birdwatching and wildlife observation, nature photography, agritourism and wine routes.
