“At the Hearth of Pies” Festival

The festival will begin with the traditional folk costume parade, performances by the INSP horse unit, and the famous “Hora Unirii.” More than 20 folk ensembles, along with renowned artists from the Republic of Moldova, will perform on the stage set up at the central stadium in Cigîrleni.

Organizers promise pies for every taste — with a wide variety of fillings and types of dough.

“Dozens of homemakers will once again strive to surprise us with the most delicious pies. There is a friendly and healthy competition among them, as each one aims to be the best, bringing something innovative while preserving the authentic taste of a traditional pie.”
