An easy hike of approximately 4 km – suitable for all ages, leading through diverse landscapes: meadows, steep riverbanks, orchards, and scenic viewpoints.
Birdwatching areas – featuring species like European bee-eaters or wild ducks – a true paradise for nature lovers and photography enthusiasts.
The Dniester Riviera – a natural relaxation area with a beach, where the interplay of light and water creates a mesmerizing atmosphere.
Encounters with rural heritage – traditional mills, ancient wells, and homesteads that preserve the crafts of yesteryear.
Open-air gastronomic theater – tastings of traditional dishes prepared by local hostesses from Mărcăuți, celebrating the simple and pure flavors of the countryside.
The trail was developed within the project “Eco App for Sustainable Tourism in the Republic of Moldova,” implemented by the National Tourism Office, co-financed under the Polish development cooperation by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, and realized with the strategic support of the HumanDoc Foundation.

Trail Itinerary
Surrounded by picturesque landscapes and wetlands rich in biodiversity, the trail takes you through a tranquil world where the Dniester River tells its story in the whispers of the waves and the rustling of the reeds. Guided by passionate locals, you will discover a corner of authentic nature where time flows differently – slower, cleaner, and deeper.

The educational panels installed along the trail facilitate an interactive and engaging exploration, while the eco-friendly markings ensure safe orientation. This area holds high ecological value and is located near the Dniester River – a vital artery of the Republic of Moldova, essential for conserving wetlands and maintaining the balance of local ecosystems.
